Whilst at Nursery our children may well think they spend all their time playing. However unbeknown to them such ‘play’ has been designed to support the following: their personal, social, emotional, and physical development, enhancement of their communication and language skills, improvement in literacy & mathematical competency and their expression through art & design.

We use  Department of Education publications as guidance to teach children and to understand what skills should be anticipated throughout their development.
